Briana Petters, LCSW found her passion for psychology and psychotherapy early in her undergraduate degree while working as a supervisor in an adolescent treatment center for youth on the autism spectrum. She then pursued and completed her MSW from the University of Utah with an emphasis in mental health. She has practiced at a variety of places and with many diverse clients including military veterans, LGBTQ, Sexual Assault survivors, religious trauma, mental health outpatient, and substance abuse. Briana has always had a passion for helping individuals at critical moments of their lives and has worked extensively with individuals impacted by trauma. She is drawn to a humanistic perspective and resonates with EMDR, ACT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness therapeutic practices. Briana is a passionate and driven social change and human rights advocate who is inspired by human resiliency and self-determination.
Kirsten Gregersen, MA, LCMHC has a Masters Degree in Mental Heath Counseling from the University of Utah, where she also earned her Bachelors Degree in Psychology. She specializes in treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger problems and eating disorders. She has extensive experience working with trauma, domestic violence and sexual assault. She utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy and Art Therapy. Kirsten uses a creative, strengths-based approach to help individuals lessen psychological pain and deepen their enjoyment of life.
Rebecca Merson, LCMHC earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Champlain College in 2016 and continued on to earn her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lynn University. Before becoming a counselor, Rebecca was a competitive athlete and coach. Rebecca believes in providing a safe, judgment free space to address her client’s physical, mental, social and emotional needs. Rebecca is trained in and passionate about Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, CBT, and EMDR. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Rebecca specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, anger/behavioral issues, self-esteem, and parenting.
Shari Elliott, LCMHC, LPC received her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. She has worked with various populations within the community including, substance abuse treatment, domestic violence, anxiety and depression. Shari uses CBT while utilizing a client-centered approach. She is also passionate about suicide prevention and active at the local American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Carrie Harris, LCSW earned her Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Utah. She is skilled at collaborating with clients to understand and serve individual needs. Carrie's focus is relationship distress. She relies on Gottman tools to help individuals, couples and families improve communication and connection. Her approach is client centered. She provides a warm space to work through stuck, heavy emotions that often originate from past experiences. Her toolbox includes, but is not limited to, EMDR, IFS, CBT and art therapy. She works to ensure her clients feel heard and understood.
Samantha Wilson, MSW, CSW is a pediatric mental health therapist at Blue Clover Therapy in Salt Lake City. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boise State University and her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Iowa State University. Sam is also a TBRI Practitioner. She utilizes Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), “an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention” as well as other play therapy models. Her focus is working with children and their families for them to have stronger and more healthy relationship. She has experience treating trauma, adjustment issues, anxiety, and depression in children. Sam is married and together they have one biological child. She and her partner are also
licensed foster care parents in the state of Utah.
Emma Ruppert, MSW, CSW received her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky and her Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Northern Michigan University. She has experience working with diverse populations, creating a safe space for clients to express themselves and their concerns. Her focus is working with adults, children, and families to address anxiety, depression, self-esteem, behavioral issues, and trauma. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, coping skills, and play therapy.
Aujhanae Plummer, MSW, CSW received a Master's Degree in Clinical Social work from Weber State University and has worked in various positions in the social service and mental health field. Aujhanae has experience working in case management in a recovery center, working with homeless youth, and providing services for and helping individuals with disabilities. Aujhanae loves working with a variety of clients especially with children and adolescents that are affected by anxiety, depression, and OCD. Aujhanae uses evidence-based treatments including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Trauma Focused-CBT, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), Exposure Response and Prevention, and Play Therapy techniques in her work with clients. Paula Dudley, MSW, CSW received her Masters Degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University after completing a Bachelor degree in Family Services. Paula has experience working with adults, couples, teens, and diverse populations. Paula has worked with clients affected by life transitions, anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, low self-esteem, and compassion fatigue. Paula utilizes evidence-based therapies and practices such as CBT, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy to meet the needs of her clients. In her holistic and strength-based approach to therapy, she is dedicated to serving the client’s needs with compassion and kindness. She believes that everyone deserves a voice and provides a safe space for individuals and families to thrive. Paula is licensed to practice therapy services in both Utah and Ohio.
Alyssa Polito, MSW, CSW received her Master's Degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University and her Bachelors Degree in Social Work. Alyssa also has a minor in Women's, Gender, & Sexuality Studies from the University of Cincinnati. Alyssa’s focus is working with adults and she has experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, domestic violence, and sexual assault. Alyssa practices with a strengths-based approach and utilizes CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), and SFBT (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy). She is trained in trauma-informed care with adults as well as working with survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. Nicole Small, ACMHC received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She then went on to pursue and complete her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Santa Barbara, CA. Nicole has worked with adults, families, and couples at various levels of care. She has experience treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use. Nicole has completed the Level 1Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and uses these methods when working with couples. Nicole is passionate about helping clients enhance their connections in meaningful relationships. Nicole strives to create a safe, calm space when working with her clients and operates from a person-centered approach.
